Are you trying to sign in with a Patreon membership or your email address correctly?

There are two ways to sign in to the site. Initially, the site required you to have a Patreon subscription to Zero to Finals and use your Patreon account to sign in. More recently, we have made it possible to sign up directly using your email address (without using Patreon). If you are signing up for the first time, we recommend using your email address rather than Patreon.

When you try to log in, make sure that you are logging in with the correct method. Trying to log in using the email box with your Patreon details will not work. Trying to log in using the Patreon link using your direct membership will not work.

Are you trying to sign in using the correct email address?

Most people have several different email addresses. If you are sure you signed up to Patreon, but when you log in to Patreon, it says that you are not signed up, there is a good chance you are not using the email address you signed up with.

Log out of Patreon and log in using the email address you signed up with. You may need to try different email addresses to see which one is signed up. Then, try logging into the member's site using the correct email address.

Have you cancelled your Patreon membership?

This issue applies only to people who sign up for a Zero to Finals Patreon subscription (not those who sign up directly on this site). Cancelling your membership renewal means you immediately lose access. However, sign up for the membership using the same account again, and you will gain access without being charged again.

For example, you signed up on 1st April and will be billed again on 1st May. You cancelled your membership on 5th April, so you lost access to the members site. If you sign up again, you will not be charged again for April. If you cancel on 30th April, you will not be charged on your renewal date of 1st May.

(This does not apply if you sign up directly to the members site using your email address - in this scenario, you will retain access after cancelling until your membership period runs out).

Patreon

Did you sign up to Patreon with your Apple or Facebook account?

When you sign in to Patreon and become a Patreon member using your Apple or Facebook account rather than your email address, it generates a random string of numbers to identify you anonymously instead of your email address. This means you can only log in using your Apple or Facebook account. If you try to use your email address, the system will not recognise you. You must click "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Facebook" when logging in to the members site.

Another solution is to change your email address within your Patreon account and set your actual email address as the way you log in. You may have to log out of everything and log back in first. The article linked below describes the process of changing your email address on Patreon. Your results on the members site are linked to your email address, so changing your email address may affect your saved results.

Are you an active member but cannot log in?

If you are a member but are unable to log in, there are a few steps to try:

  1. Wait a few minutes. Sometimes it takes a few moments before the connection works.
  2. Log out of Patreon (if using Patreon to log in), then try logging in again.
  3. Clear your browser cache.
  4. Make sure your browser is up to date.
  5. Try a different browser.
  6. Try a different device.
